Immerse yourself in the Amazon jungle for a day amidst rare wildlife. On foot you will approach Lake Sandoval, where you should stay alert for hoatzins, herons and ospreys flapping in the thick vegetation and treetops overhead.
As you continue into the reserve, each of your footsteps will stir the surrounding nature and you might be able to catch a glimpse of black caimans, red howler, squirrel monkeys and the endangered giant river otter.
After lunch, you’ll enjoy a guided tour of the Botanical Garden, where more than 200 medicinal rainforest plants can be found. You’ll feel completely immersed in the impressive Amazonian ecosystem.
