Experience the Amazon rainforest from both the water and on foot as you track animals along Gamitana Creek. As you wind along the dark water in a canoe, look out for caimans, turtles and brightly coloured birds along the river’s edge. 

You’ll approach Gamitana Model Farm where you can stretch your legs on a guided walk. You’ll learn about the plant and animal life in the area as well as how to make plantain flour that can be used to make bread. 

The Amazon’s adaptive and self-sufficient ecosystem will amaze you, especially when a monkey howls from the treetops above.
