Perhaps you can imagine 100 Cape fur seals, squawking and waddling across the sand. But 100,000? 

A pungent smell greets you. Ebullient belches and outrageous cackles come from the colony. 100,000 Cape fur seals together! Fighting, mating, playing, communicating, continuing their daily life. 

You can walk incredibly close to them. You can even walk among them, just watch out, because although they appear slow, their teeth can do serious damage and when escaping one you can walk backwards into another.
