Your pilot is waiting for you in Homer, where the adventure begins. You will first fly over Cook Bay across to Lake Clark National Park. From the plane, you will see the rugged coastline give way to mountains, to glaciers and volcanoes, and the turquoise expanses of Lake Clark and Lake Illiamna.
There are no roads here. It’s all wilderness and untouched nature. And for one hour you will fly through it, drinking in its vast beauty, before landing at last in Katmai National Park.
