Slip almost silently along the narrow waterways of Mida Creek as the sun rises over the Indian Ocean. Explore a world of mangrove forest and exotic birdlife unchanged by time.
Located at the southern end of Watamu’s stunning white sand beaches, Mida Creek lies within the blue waters of a marine reserve. Specially-built boardwalks are linked by rickety wooden bridges. However, a better way to probe this watery wonderland is to forego solid ground for a stand-up paddleboard.
This is a privately-guided paddle, in a landscape where it’s unusual to encounter other people.
