Operating from April to October, San Camp is part of the Makgadikgadi mirage. You will be immersed in the world’s largest salt pan, at a high-end camp that ramps up the sense of adventure, exclusivity and fun.
It’s incredibly remote here and that is part of the appeal. You can stare across the pans and get lost in the moving mirage. Yet wildlife does thrive here and there are plenty of animals to uncover on quad bike rides and game drives.
This place is completely off the grid in the style of old-world safari camps. Here you hang out with meerkats and walk with Zu/’hoasi bushmen rather than connect to Wi-Fi.
