You can’t drive to Kwando. You need to fly. The wilderness is so thick and isolated you will fly in on a light aircraft, to spend a few days amid one of Africa’s most diverse wildlife populations.
Mixing the best of Chobe and Okavango, Kwando is home to drama and charm. Wild dogs prowl here, large packs hunting springbok and zebra. Buffalo battle with lions. Crocodiles take down unsuspecting riverbank drinkers. It’s really really wild and there are just a few guests for tens of thousands of kilometres of empty space.
After flying in to Kwando you will enjoy a customizable program led by two local guides and a team of trackers. You can walk, drive, go off trail, explore at night, and safari on the river. There are no swimming pools or over the top luxuries. Welcome to one of the wildest, most private, African safaris you can have.
