Covid-Safe Tanzania Safari

Countries
Best time to visit
August, September, October

Tanzania has fully reopened its borders to international visitors. This is normally the busiest time of year for a Tanzanian safari. Due to the health pandemic there are hardly any visitors. But the animals haven’t disappeared. You can be alone amid nature’s greatest show, on a safari with lions, leopards, wildebeest, elephants and so much more!

To enter Tanzania you will need to bring a negative PCR test dated within 72 hours of your arrival. Private guides will meet you at the airport and run a fully private safari experience that does not encounter other people. You can effectively isolate while still traveling, as you stay in remote camps and explore epic wilderness areas.

This Tanzania safari experience follows the Northern Circuit and includes four different national parks. You may choose to extend this experience by visiting national parks in the south, such as Ruaha or Selous. Or perhaps adding on a trip to Zanzibar!
