You’ll depart by boat and cruise stealthily down Paterson Inlet like pirates planning a night ambush. Reaching your destination and disembarking to continue on foot, keep your eyes peeled and ears open for the telltale signs of rustling leaves. 

As dusk transforms to night, click on your torch and tread closer to your sandy destination. Creatures of habit, the kiwis will be found on the beachfront, feeding on the foliage of seaweed and plant life that is plentiful near the water’s edge.
