Kenmare Town Tour

Located along the beautiful and popular Ring of Kerry, Kenmare is a little town with big character. Nestled at the head of Kenmare Bay, it’s a cozy outpost in one of Ireland’s wildest regions.

Visit the mysterious stone circle known to locals as the Shrubberies. Comprising fifteen large boulders, this millennia-old ritual site was constructed in the Bronze Age and sits right in the town itself.

Explore the region’s biodiversity at Reenagross Woodland Park, a well-designed park at the edge of the bay that provides habitat for various bird species.

Tuck into a hearty bowl of stew and a pint at one of the town’s delightful pubs.
