In the autumn of each year, over 500,000 caribou pass Nunavut’s Ennadai Lake on their legendary migration.
Move with them through a barren landscape of burnished tundra, of sporadic pockets of stunted tamarack and black spruce. Your private guide will identify prime spots from which to view the migration, and you will marvel at the sight of so many of these iconic large mammals. And the wolves that harry their perimeter.
After a full day of experiencing the migration, enjoy dinner under a clear night sky, bright with the flowing colors of the aurora borealis—the northern lights.
